Grantmamas associates have provided exceptional educational consulting and grant writing services to schools and other non-profit organizations throughout the United States for the past thirty-five years.

Our goal at Grantmamas is to help you change the futures of your children and our nation’s youth. We recognize the financial problems currently plaguing America’s schools and we want to empower you to make a bigger difference in your children’s education.

Toni Rockis, Ph.D., CGW

Toni Rockis, Ph.D., CGW Co-Founded Grantmamas to help mothers bring money and resources into schools for expanded programs and services.  As Co-Founder of Grantmamas, Toni oversees all content creation and product development.

Toni is also the President and CEO of our parent company, Granted, Inc. In this capacity she oversees strategic planning for all facets of the company.

Her grant writing and professional teaching career has spanned more than three decades.  Toni has authored, co-authored, and administered more than $68M in grants for schools and professional organizations.  She has partnered with hundreds of educational professionals to help them acquire money and resources they needed to start and grow a multitude of programs and services.   She has secondary, postsecondary, and higher education teaching experience, serving 23 years as a Professor of Education and teacher educator at Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal.

Toni is the author of Grant Writing Success: Opening the Doors to Financial Opportunity, a book covering the basics of foundation, state, and federal grant writing.   She has also authored dozens of professional development publications for teachers and administrators, and spent more than twenty years coordinating and delivering workshops and seminars for educators across the nation.

She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education/Special Education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale; a M.S. in Special Education/Educational Administration, also from SIU-C; and a Ph.D. in Special Education/Career and Technical Education/Educational Administration from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.   She is a Certified Grant Writer (CGW) with the American Grant Writers Association (AGWA).  She also holds memberships with the Grant Professionals Association (GPA), the Professional Writers’ Alliance, the Experts Industry Association (EIA), and the American Writers & Artists Inc. (AWAI).

Christine McCarty Linder

Christine
Christine Linder Co-Founded Grantmamas to help give mothers the opportunity to learn a new skillset and help make a difference in their children’s education. Christine oversees marketing, social media, product development, and communications.

Christine is also the Vice President of Marketing and Communications of our parent company, Granted, Inc., where she assists with marketing and communications outreach.

Previously, Christine worked at Fleishman-Hillard in its corporate reputation and business-to-business practice group, where she focused on generating strategic planning and media relations for AT&T, Emerson, and other clients. Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Christine oversaw analyst relations, social media marketing and day-to-day media relations for clients at Mercury Labs, a boutique technology public relations agency and video production company.

Earlier, Christine served as the communication director for U.S. Congressman Lamar Smith (R-TX). From organizing and conducting national press conferences, media tours, local workshops and town hall meetings, Christine oversaw both national and local media outreach and constituent relations. During her time on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, Christine also worked as an assistant press secretary for U.S. Congressman Joe Barton (R-TX), who was Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee, and managed and conducted committee media relations on technology, telecom, health, energy and environment issues. She also worked for now-U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO), when he was U.S. House Majority Whip.

Christine is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she received a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcast News and a minor in Psychology.

Darrick Hays

Creative Director

Darrick
Darrick Hays joined Grantmamas in 2011 as the Creative Director where he assists with graphic design for all branding mediums including product, online, video, and social media.

Darrick has expertise in two-dimensional and three-dimensional design formats as well as extensive skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, animation, digital transfer, digital editing, and photography. Currently, Darrick is the Digital Art Director for Boxing Clever in St. Louis, Mo.  He began his career at Boxing Clever in 2009 as a Design Intern.

Darrick is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors in 2009.

Kristina Brune

Lead Writer

Kristina
Kristina joined Grantmamas in 2014 as a writer. Mother to a first grader and a preschooler, Kristina is passionate about parent involvement in education and improving both the public and private school systems.

Kristina is a freelance copywriter and editor. She has experience writing and editing website copy, designing marketing materials, blog posts, books, and more. Kristina’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and start-ups. She is also experienced in branding and marketing, including social media management, search engine optimization, and content management.

Kristina is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Criminal Justice and Criminology.
